Tsinghua University Team Publishes Initial OpenClaw Research Reports

A research team led by Professor Shen Yang at Tsinghua University has released two reports detailing OpenClaw, an AI-driven workflow system. The publications, titled "OpenClaw Development Research Report 1.0" and "OpenClaw Self-Research Report 1.0," offer an interpretation of the system's operational paradigms and principles.

Report Development and Content
"OpenClaw Development Research Report 1.0" underwent multiple review cycles. Its data retrieval, organization, structural optimization, text refinement, and some typesetting were supported by artificial intelligence, with human oversight for critical content and final validation. This report was structured around the "one-person company workflow" concept.
"OpenClaw Self-Research Report 1.0" utilized an OpenClaw-like workflow to conduct self-research on OpenClaw itself. This experimental work, which explores AI researching AI, was completed in approximately 90 minutes.

OpenClaw's Phased Progress
The Tsinghua team has established a comprehensive framework for OpenClaw, encompassing theoretical research, model development, skill systems, practical applications, and public outreach. Key areas of progress include:
Theoretical Research: The team has produced two "one-person company" research reports and three specialized OpenClaw reports, establishing the theoretical framework for the OpenClaw ecosystem. Nearly 20 themed live broadcasts have reached millions of online viewers.
Variant Iteration: The ZeelinClaw series of customized platforms, based on OpenClaw and other open-source frameworks, has seen continuous development, with new versions iterated roughly every three days. The user base for these platforms has surpassed 10,000.
AI Skill System: Development is underway for a series of AI Skill modules. Exclusive business-to-business (ToB) services are anticipated to launch soon, with customized skills designed for various industries to be rolled out progressively.
Ecosystem Platform: The team launched a Chinese version of Rentahuman, along with the Zeelin drama automation order-taking service, enabling AI-driven order processing and delivery. This platform currently supports services such as AI short drama production and professional report writing.
Public Communication and Efficiency: Ongoing professional science popularization live broadcasts are being conducted. Additionally, the team is facilitating the publication of three professional books on OpenClaw, one of which has already been submitted. In a deep research workflow test conducted on March 14, a single individual produced five high-quality reports and presentations within an eight-hour period.
