Tencent ima PPT Feature Boosts Ranking; Perplexity AI Climbs Overseas Chart

Tencent's AI Workbench ima has launched a new "Generate PPT" feature, enabling users to create presentations from personal knowledge bases via its "Task Mode." This update led to an eight-place increase in ima's domestic ranking between January 5 and January 11, 2026.

During the same period, several domestic AI video tools, including MiniMax, Wan, and Jimeng, also saw their rankings improve. Tripo AI advanced 10 positions domestically, a gain attributed to recent algorithmic enhancements in its 3D generation models.

Overseas AI Product Performance

On the international front, Perplexity AI rose four places, entering the top seven in the overseas chart. This surge in popularity is linked to growing user reliance on its "AI instant search" capabilities, which provide direct answers with source citations. Perplexity AI surpassed Notion AI and Sora in the rankings.

Additionally, SpicyChat AI, an AI character product, climbed 11 positions. This indicates continued user interest in diverse and personalized AI role-playing experiences beyond established platforms like Character.ai.

The rankings, which track the performance of AI products, evaluate the top 100 tools globally based on metrics such as visits, downloads, mentions, and voice value.
